[00:00:14] Speaker A: Good morning, friends and family. I am in studio with Matt Ludic. He will introduce himself shortly. And we're just gonna have a chat about some topics that I would like to.
Vicky's mindful. Would you like to introduce yourself?
[00:00:30] Speaker B: Like Vicki said, my name is Matt, and firstly, hi to everybody. Wherever you're watching from, listening from, it's a privilege to be, you know, spend some time with you. So, yes, my name is Matt and I'm actually Vicky's husband. Should I introduce myself like that?
[00:00:47] Speaker A: Yes, you can.
[00:00:48] Speaker B: Is that good enough?
[00:00:49] Speaker A: Definitely. I just had an interview right before this about the pastor's wife.
[00:00:53] Speaker B: Oh, wow.
[00:00:54] Speaker A: And. And we had such. We had an awesome time and laughs about that. So, yes, I am the pastor's wife.
[00:01:01] Speaker B: What a privilege indeed. For me it is.
[00:01:05] Speaker A: So I don't, you know, when. When Matt and I are at our house or any other place, I call him lover. So it will feel so weird to say Matt now, but for obvious purposes, let's do it very professional.
All right, Matt, I. Because I know you, I have selected very carefully a topic that I know that you can just. I mean, you can flow in any topic, but this one, I know that.
That you will enjoy very much, and I always enjoy to listen. Listen to this through your eyes and ears. So I want to chat to you about glory, the weight of Troy, leading a church in this culture of noise that's going on.
So firstly, let's speak about the glory of God. Can you. Can you explain, in short, please, to our listeners on the glory of God?
It's obviously a revelation, but share that revelation.
[00:02:03] Speaker B: All right? Yeah. The glory of God is a. It's an amazing topic to speak about. And I think, you know, there's so many people have spoken about it and times gone by, great books written about that as well, that people go find and can read.
But the glory of God, you know, I think it's. It's. It's very important to understand that the glory of God is not just something that we kind of like. It lifts and goes away. We want, you know, we want real glory. We want the glory of God to be everywhere and anywhere. So.
So in the Old Testament, we'll find the glory of God manifesting in different ways.
And then it's called, you know, Shekinah glory.
So the Shekinah glory of God was the visible glory of God. So that would mean that they would meet somewhere and the visible glory of God would manifest. And however that would manifest would be in different ways. But let's say it would Be a cloud or something that would manifest in a specific way. So then, you know, the glory of God is, is there. Then we go to the New Testament and we see the Bible, you know, says to us that Jesus comes. And as Jesus comes, he is now the glory of God shown to this earth.
There's an interesting concept and I heard you say I should be short some, you know, going around everywhere. So. But the Bible speaks about the concept of, you know, that we carry the glory of God, we as human beings. So we were created by God for his glory.
So we are glory carriers.
And the interesting thing about the Old Testament to go back to the Old Testament again is that in the Old Testament, God chose priests to be the carriers of the ark of the covenant, which was, you know, just a symbol of the glory of God. So we would know, you know, for those of you who might not know. But there was little chest created.
And then this chest, you know, symbolized the glory of God and it would stand in the holies of holies. And then once a year in Moses time, Moses actually would spend time with God and the glory of God would manifest.
And then whenever this, you know, they had to move this from one setting to another setting, God chose priests. And the priests actually carried the glory. So no one else could carry the glory. The glory was meant to be on the shoulders of the priest. And they carried from one city to another city.
And that's an important thing for us. And we know that, you know, the neighboring country at a stage that ark of the covenant was lost, is gone. And they built like a thing for it, you know, like a cart for it and put it on the David and them. And they realized that that's not the wrong way, rather that's the wrong way to do it. But in the Old Testament we find the priest carrying it. In the New Testament, we know it's also meant for the priest. The Bible speaks about the church, who is the ecclesia, that is the elect of God. God speaks of us as the priest. So the Bible says that we are a royal priest.
So that means, you know, sometimes we miss this. This concept royal means we are kingly, we are kings, you know, unto our God. The Bible also says so we are royal priesthood. So I mean every single believer, woman, man, doesn't really matter because in Christ Jesus there's no longer woman or man.
So it speaks of us being the glory carriers.
So God now, through the Holy Spirit now lives within us and his glory is manifested in, in and through our lives.
That's why? It's also important to realize that, you know, God doesn't live. He didn't live in the Old Testament, he doesn't live now just in a specific place. He actually said, you know, when, you know, when he was asked, you know, let me build a place for worship. And God said, well, I'm not going to live there anyway.
God's heart is to live within us and his glory be manifested in and through our lives.
Maybe some of our, you know, listeners out there might have experienced the glory in times gone by in a meeting or something.
And there's a difference between the anointing and the glory. The anointing is many times where you kind of sit and you experience someone and someone is, you know, ministering and there's really anointing. There's something working. You can sense as well. Many times people would speak and you know that they just. This is not just normal speaking or even singing. You know, certain people just when they sing, you're like, oh my goodness, this guy is so anointed.
And what they do. So that's one flow of it. But the glory of God is something different. The glory of God is not connected to the anointing. That's connected with a man or a woman and maybe just something on anointing. So anointing is maybe something like, I don't want to, you know, a better term of this. I'm trying to search one. But something almost like an altar, like a mantle. So you'll carry this mantle that you carry upon your life and you're anointed to do something and you've got that anointing. We you'll hear people say, you've got anointing for business, or you've got anointing for writing, or you've got anointing. People will say it like that because they could see the flow that you kind of in, you know, so that's important to realize that there's anointing. But the glory of God has got nothing to do with us.
It's got everything with God and with the anointing as well. But the fact of the matter is with the anointing you have to put faith in action.
So you carry something, but by faith you activate that. So by faith you bring that forward. By faith you operate in the gifts of Holy Spirit and so and so forth, you know, but the glory of God, you kind of. It's God manifesting and God just coming into our room. And the glory of God is just a different place altogether, you know, like I said, some of our listeners out there, maybe you as well, have experienced the glory. And it just changes everything.
The atmosphere changes. It's just different. And speaking about atmosphere, you know, the atmosphere of heaven is the glory of God and it's the atmosphere of heaven.
So when we experience, you know, in our meetings, in our places and where you live and you experience the glory of God, it is heaven touching earth, literally. That's what happens. And the concept of us, you know, experiencing it, there should be a hunger within us to say, lord, show us your glory.
Moses said, come on, I want to see your face, Lord. I want to see you. I want to see who you are. I can't just live, you know, with breadcrumbs. I want the whole bread.
[00:08:21] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:08:21] Speaker B: And some people at this stage, they kind of like, you know, something like, yo, that, that's really cool. So you are happy with the breadcrumbs.
You have to live with the bread.
And just, you know, off the topic of. A little bit off the topic of the glory, many people come to church on a Sunday and they hear the pastor and they kind of take the bread crumbs.
But do you know that as believers, we've got the bread of life that we can eat of every single day? Why do we want to do it any other way? So, yeah, so just kind of talking all around about the glory of God. Yeah, maybe another question with the gods.
[00:08:56] Speaker A: I would, I would. I think you've answered it already. Like people experience it and, and, and you know when you experience it, that you experience it. So in your life, I, I know the answer. So. But I would like you to just tell me again.
You've had many of these experiences, but is there one specific one that you would like to share that you experience God's glory in a tangible way that you know it has just changed your life forever?
[00:09:26] Speaker B: I think it's important for us to, to realize that experiences with God, let's call them encounters.
[00:09:31] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:09:32] Speaker B: So encounters with God, they, they are life changing.
So throughout my life, you know, in, in, even before I went into ministry, I've been in ministry for many years. Like you would know, I started as a young man without any gray hair, and now I'm still a young man with gray hair.
[00:09:50] Speaker A: So it's the ministry that gave him gray.
[00:09:53] Speaker B: But the fact is this, that throughout our lives we have these encounters with God. And when you have glory encounters and God steps into your room, experience something, it's just, it's always kind of like different. It's not, it's not always the same.
[00:10:06] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:10:07] Speaker B: And the reason for that is. And, and, and I know that you know that and I've heard you rather, I've read that you've written about these things as well. And because it's. It's so profound to think about, you know, the angels of God going around his throne and they cry out to him these words, holy, which means kadesh, Kodesh, Kodesh. And the word kadesh literally means holy, or set apart, but can also mean, you know, different.
How amazing is that? They go around his throne and they go, you know, there's no time and space, okay? And that's one thing of the glory. It surpasses time and space in a sense. So when you're in a glory moment with God and you kind of, I don't want to say, come out of it because it sounds like you don't go into a trance. Got nothing to do with that. But it's almost like time. It's kind of like. It's different. It's just a different. You just feel you can be in a meeting in church and you say, oh, was that really three hours? Yes, it was three hours. Because you stop watching, looking at your watch, rather, it's different.
So they go around the throne of God. So in our time, in our space, we would say 24 7, 365, they go around. Every time they see something, they say, oh, you, you're holy. You, you are separated. And they'll say something like, oh, I've never seen this. Oh, goodness, you are different. God. And they'll say, you know, holy. Like, wow. And. And the thing about that is, like, for us, with every experience we have with God, it. It necessarily is not always the same.
So you've been asked, you. You rather ask, which one stands out? I can't really say because they all have touched my life in such a tremendous way. But I can give you some, you know, some ideas of what happened, you know, in my life. I remember one day I was about to minister at a.
At a place, and as I was about to minister at this place, I went into a little room, probably a little bigger than this one, and just to prepare and just kind of, you know, settle myself because I've been driving and now I get to this place, I need to minister now, and I kind of have to just settle down. And I love to do that anyway, just to go in and just settle down. And I was like, all right, Lord, I'm here.
At the next moment, the presence of the Lord just Filled the place. And the glory of God just filled the place. And I heard the Lord say to me very profoundly, so you are here, but so am I.
And do you realize that I am the one who can change lives, not you?
And as I kind of experienced him more the next moment, I really felt the glory. God so strong around me that I actually felt fear.
[00:12:43] Speaker A: Wow.
[00:12:44] Speaker B: But it's. It's a reverential fear.
It's a different fear.
It's that fear the Bible speaks about, that kind of. You have to have a revelation about as well.
Because so many people out there, they fear God, but they fear him the wrong way. And when you experience something like that and you're like, oh, my word, it's really different. It's in awe. You're in awe of God. And there was a little, like a desk in this place. I was praying, and it's almost like a little study type thing. And I kind of, you know, went underneath the table, tried to hide, which was just weird because I couldn't really hide. I was hiding. I said, lord, please forgive me if you ever feel that I try to take your glory.
[00:13:24] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:13:25] Speaker B: And I had that moment.
I realized God's glory belongs to God. Yes, to us.
And it had an incredible impact on me in such a way that I did something profound that I got up there and I said, lord, what do you want me to do? And I did something really weird.
And I wouldn't recommend people going out there and doing exactly the same now, but.
[00:13:50] Speaker A: What did you do?
[00:13:51] Speaker B: I shaved my head.
[00:13:52] Speaker A: Wow.
[00:13:53] Speaker B: With a razor, actually.
And I took one part of my hair and kind of gave it to the system that I was in, a religious system, the denomination. So this is it. It's very weird. And the other part, I threw in the wind. I said, lord, I'll go wherever you want to go. I'll honor you forever.
And I think the thing with my hair is gonna. For me, my hair has always been like, I like my hair.
Although there's not much left of it nowadays. But the fact I always liked it as a young man growing up, maybe it was something like that. I don't know. But that's why I say, don't become weird to people out there. It's not like you should do stuff like that. Not at all. So each to his own with regards to that. Never be weird.
[00:14:35] Speaker A: God was gracious enough to hit Moses when he passed him. When his story passed him.
[00:14:40] Speaker B: Correct.
[00:14:40] Speaker A: I think it's a similar thing. And you hit by yourself. You didn't even Wait for God to hit you.
[00:14:45] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. So, okay, I did that. It was like. And it was profound, you know, so for me at that stage, and I had many encounters like that, then some of these encounters, you know, just off in churches. I've experienced that as well. Where you're going in this moment. And the glory of God would just come in. It would be like. Feel like waves.
[00:15:02] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:15:03] Speaker B: Like a wave coming in and a wave coming in. And you'll experience that as well. It's tremendous. I've experienced that. I've experienced it behind closed doors where no one is with me, and just the glory of God will fill the place. And with regards to the glory of God, one thing that I have noticed, you know, that I've seen with my encounters with the glory of God is. Is the weight that goes with it.
So literally, the word, obviously in the old testament is the word kabot, and the word kabot is the glory. But the word kabot carries this thing about weight.
[00:15:38] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:15:39] Speaker B: So it's weight.
So that will me. Some of you have experienced that.
You feel that weight. It's like.
It's an interesting way, because if you were to hold your hands like that, and I'll say, the weight of his glory is in this room, you'll feel your hands, like, heavy.
Feel shoulders heavy. You would feel like, whoa. And then in times, you know, the Bible says when the shekinah glory of God manifested, certain people could not stand. They fell over, actually, due to the weight of his glory.
But I love the idea of the weight of his glory because that's the weightiness of God. And that's why the mercy seat. The mercy seat was such a profound place, because that's where the weight of his glory could be seated.
And he would sit there. It represents his throne on earth. So it sit there, you know, speak to Moses. The Bible says, like you would speak to a friend.
[00:16:30] Speaker A: Oh, wow.
[00:16:33] Speaker B: Yeah, I love that.
[00:16:35] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:16:36] Speaker B: You know, and one day, I was listening to a thing that Tommy Tenney, you know, he's a guy went around, and I think he wrote a book, you know, called God chases.
And then I think he wrote, well, God catches us or something like that. But it's the idea about revival and seeking God, you know, and then he kind of. He said this, you know, like, he wrote that many years ago, spoke about the concept of God is looking for places to. For his weight or his glory. To be seated.
Sure, he's looking for places. And he used this term. And I would never forget it, actually watched it was Like a clip thing of him.
And he said this, you know, God is walking around and it's almost like someone wanting to buy a new car. And he's walking around this car and checking it out and he's kicking the tires to find a place where his glory can descend.
And he was talking about, you know, church in that sense.
But I think as individuals, we should be like that. God, may your glory descend. May your glory come and fill the mercy seat in my heart. May you just be here.
Like now.
[00:17:45] Speaker A: Yes, definitely just like now, where he.
[00:17:50] Speaker B: Changes a room into his throne room.
But we transcend and we are with him.
May we become people who are carriers of his glory because he finds a place to be seated.
You don't have to be weird.
You just have to be hungry.
You have to be hungry.
You have to say, God, I want more of you.
Some people are kind of like, you know, explain like this to people. Some people are happy just to live in the fact that, you know, Jesus died on the cross.
Friends, I love the fact that Jesus died for my sins.
He died on the cross, but there's an empty tomb because he was resurrected for the glory of God. And the Bible says he ascended and he's seated at the right hand of the Father.
And the amazing thing is when we receive Christ Jesus, we go through. We say, you've forgiven my sins.
You've resurrected me through the power of the Holy Spirit. So you become born again. And when you become born again, he transcends your position. Now changes now? No, just longer, you know, normal person. The Bible says now you become a new creation in Christ Jesus. And he takes you and he seats you with Christ, him in heavenly places.
Not heavenly places. That's where the glory of God is.
So the glory of God lives within us because we have become the temple of the Holy Spirit. And I say to people, I don't ever want to be weird.
I've done stunts in my life. I was weird and weird to people out there. But I love the fact that Jesus was the image of God. He carried God's glory and people were drawn to him.
Hopefully people are still drawn to us. If not, we're doing something wrong.
But just last point, just what I want to make with regards to we carrying the glory of God. The Bible says that we will go from glory to glory. So the Word of God says in psalms, it says that we have the glory of God. So God has created man with glory. Okay? So outwardly we have been created with glory.
So every person out there, you have A degree of glory because you have been created. That's why we believe in a creator. That's why we believe in creation.
[00:20:13] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:20:13] Speaker B: So that's, it's, it's important because that's why there's an attack on the whole thing of, you know, creation.
[00:20:19] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:20:19] Speaker B: So that we not, we're not evolutionist, we are creationist. We believe that there's a creator. And however the creator decided how he makes things, whether it's like light and it's a big bang or whatever it is, come on out. It could be anything, you know, so he, he could choose. But what we need to understand is that the Bible says he created us with glory.
And now the word speaks and says we'll go from glory to glory.
And I don't see from glory to glory to glory to glory. I see glory to glory. So it seems like there's something different. And I believe that's the image of Christ again within us. And when the image of Christ kind of, you know, fills our lives again. Well, not again. So you go from being. Bible says in Ephesians 2:1 that you were dead to your trespasses and sins. So you just, you had this degree of glory which is outwardly, but now he comes and lives within you. And now the glory of God fills you. And as the glory of God fills you, now the degree, the second degree of glory or that degree of glory comes out and it's now we see it. That's why the Bible speaks about a first Adam and a last Adam. The first Adam carried glory. The last Adam, he had the ultimate glory.
But the two differences between them is, you know, the one is a life giving spirit and Jesus is that life giving spirit. So he lives within us. So the glory of God is manifold. You know, just there's so many things we can say about the glory of God. There are thick books written on the glory of God. So it's just kind of just to get a hunger with our listeners and say, come on, seek more, search for.
[00:21:47] Speaker A: More on that, on that. Search and seek. I love to get practical.
So my last question for you would be how do we actually do it?
How do we, how do we actually enter into that glory? I know that it's by revelation like we started out, but if you would explain to someone, let's get practical about it, how would we enter into and then make sure that it doesn't depart?
How do we ensure that.
[00:22:21] Speaker B: Yes, it's a good question. It's a very good question because you know, the practical side of Life. That's what it's all about. You know, Jesus came. Not that we could live weird lives. He kind of lived. You know, the Bible speaks for full lives and, you know, living life to the fullest. And so the practical side is very important for us to be able to do that. The first thing that you need to realize is that every single believer, you have got the ability to just walk in the glory of God.
[00:22:46] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:22:47] Speaker B: And that means that you kind of have to say, lord, thank you for your glory. Thank you that you are here. But I would recommend strongly that people. Can I just do this just. Just to be very practical now if I were to be at home and I'll just say, lord, come on, just show your glory. You know, there's some nice music you can find. It's called soaking music.
[00:23:05] Speaker A: Oh, yes.
[00:23:05] Speaker B: So it's not just normal praise and worship stuff. Now this is like a different sound to it. And you go. You can go and find these different things. And you'll just. When you switch it on, you listen to it just like this. You'll just hear. It might be in a major C or F or something. Just you.
You'll hear the sound and some of it just carries. Amazing, amazing presence of God. So set that up and close the room about, you know, doors behind you. Jesus spoke about create the atmosphere we want to be in. And then one of the biggest things that we do in our lives nowadays, we are constantly busy with our phones.
[00:23:40] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:23:41] Speaker B: So set your phone to the side.
Just push play.
Just do that. Just go, then press play. Do what you need to do. And you get into presence of God and you kind of just wait on the glory of God and you say, lord, thank you that I know that you are here.
I wait upon you, Lord. May your glory come and just fill this place. And now you actively waiting. It's not something falling asleep. You actively waiting. Say God, thank you that you fill this place. And as you just wait upon him, you'll feel the glory of God. Just feel the atmosphere in the room and you'll feel the glory of God within you. And at that stage, you won't have any desire to say anything.
You'll just have a desire. The desire would be just to be quiet.
You'll just sit there. There might be tears, there might be lofty, and sometimes there might be different emotions.
And that's kind of what I would recommend people just do.
Find that music. Go search for it. You can find. It's called soaking Bush in the presence.
[00:24:44] Speaker A: Soaking in the presence.
[00:24:45] Speaker B: Soaking in the prison. That's the one that we kind of listen in the house as well, you know, so do that. Listen to that. And it's also just a nice thing to have your. The waves in your house filled with that as well. So that's really nice. That's just on one way that we can do that. All right. So that. Just to make it short, do that.
[00:25:03] Speaker A: Yes.
Wow. That is.
That is awesome. And I want to thank you for just sharing those topics or questions, answers on those topics with our listeners.
It's an honor. It is always an honor for me to be in your presence. And I said this many times that when, when you get on stage on a Sunday or in teachings or anything of that, I don't, I don't relate to you as, as my husband, because I sit under your teaching. And I, like Alma said, I understand anointing and I understand position, and it's a wonderful thing. But it's also. It's a wonderful thing because you understand anointing and you understand position with regards to your relationship with the Lord, and it's a beautiful thing to be a part of that and, and just experience that.
So if you liked it, this video, please like and share it. And if you have any questions that you would like me to interview your pastor with, then please do share them with me. I. I enjoy this as much as you do. As you do. And. Yeah. Stay tuned for our next session.
[00:26:14] Speaker B: Thank you very much. Thank you for listening. Thank you for having me.
